We (the Muslim community) do not know brother Akbar in the same manner that we knew Imam Mohammed. We only know what he chose to tell us about himself in an abbreviated bio placed in this article and we do not know how much of that is accurate or sufficient enough to put him in a position of collecting $1,000,000.00 dollars of the believers’ money.

To the CPC, L.L.C. Investors, the Group Volume Buy Purchasers, and the Believers Who Trust Imam W. D. Mohammed:

It has been over a year since the passing of our honorable leader and teacher Imam W. D. Mohammed. Since his passing, much has happened in our community that weighs on my spirit. I, as well as many others, am not pleased with the way good believers in our community were treated.

Imam Mohammed poured his energy and heart into CPC, L.L.C. and Group Volume Buy and into the well-being of our community as a whole. He was able to accomplish so much and more importantly he taught us so much. He made it clear that the importance was not that we have a business entity registered with the state. What was and is important is the trust that we had in him. Among the believers who trusted Imam W. D. Mohammed were the CPC, L.L.C. Investors and the Group Volume Buy Purchasers.

On September 28th, 2009, Judge Budzinski made his ruling. He ruled that because the 1971 marriage of Shirley Muhammad and Imam W. D. Mohammed had not taken the full legal course to a divorce, and it had only stopped short at a legal separation, that he could not, legally, deny her recognition in the courts as Imam Mohammed’s surviving spouse. Thus he named her an heir and granted her administration over Imam Mohammed’s estate. However, Judge Budzinski was not blind to the reality of the situation that came before his bench. He also ruled that Khadijah Siddeeq-Mohammed was Imam W. D. Mohammed’s surviving spouse too and had similar rights as an heir.

Those Muslims who spoke to Khadijah prior to this law suit will remember that Khadijah had said over and over that she would step aside from being involved in the Imam’s Estate and that her only hope and desire was that she be shown and given the respect of being Imam Mohammed’s wife, that the Honorable legacy of Imam Mohammed be preserved and the young heirs who are innocent and believers who trusted and invested their hard earned monies into the various programs that Imam Mohammed initiated, that they would not be denied justice as to what they were rightly due as heirs and investors.
