As-Salaamu-Alaikum

I have been following Brother Mohammed Siddeeq's blog since the very beginning and I am saddened that a fellow Muslim would make such a comment as:

"Whatever you need to get over, get over it and move on. Yet another tired article of why we should not support Mosques Care and anything they develop. Are you building something Bro Siddeeq or are you just in [the] way, and beginning to stink the place up?"

In fact. I am appalled at such callousness toward's the widow of our late leader, Imam W. D. Mohammed - Sister Khadijah Siddeeq Mohammed. If the writer of this unkind comment would go back and carefully read over the articles that Brother Mohammed Siddeeq has written, he would understand that it is Brother Siddeeq's right to protest against the unislamic treatment that his daughter, our sister, and Imam W. Deen Mohammed's wife, has received from those members of our Imam's family, and from members of our Islamic community who do not want Islamic Law to govern in the case of the inheritance that is due to Sister Kadijah Siddeeq Mohammed.

How can a true Believer ask a brother Muslim to "get over" an attack on Islamic values, especially justice and compassion to one of our still-bereaved sisters, who was a "lawful wife" of Imam W. Deen Moahmmed at the time of his death in September, 2008.

Allah says to the believers (Holy Qur'an, Surah 9: Ayat 71);

The Believers, men
And women, are protectors
One of another: they enjoin
What is just, and forbid
What is evil..."

Brother Mohammed Siddeeq is absolutely correct, according to the
teachings of Al Islam, to enjoin (meaning to "direct or impose with authority") what is just with regard to the inheritance rights of his daughter, Sister Khadijah Siddeeq Mohammed.

How can a true Believer ask his Muslim brother to "get over" the gross mistreatment of a dear member of his family (his own daughter).

I pray that Brother Mohammed Siddeeq persists in protesting against the evil treatment of his daughter until Quranic Law prevails in her case and the Muslim Community, under the Leader of Imam W. Deen Mohammed, stands up and insures that she is given "what is just."

I do not perceive that Brother Mohammed Siddeeq is "stinking up" any "place". In fact, I believe that he is bringing fresh, pure air into a situation that appears to be laden with self-interest, greed, and corruption, which is resulting in the denial of justice to his daughter.

When Imam W. Deen Mohammed addressed the issue of the name, "The Mosque Cares", he made a distinction between the "Ministry of Imam W. D. Mohammed", which is a 501(c)3 not- for-profit corporation, and the name "The Mosque Cares", which he said that he used to let people know that we (as Muslims) should care about people. Thus, we should not callously disregard the compassion of a father toward his daughter and that father's, our brother's, desire to see a gross wrong against his daughter corrected by the Muslim Community of her late husband, Imam W. Deen Mohammed.

Peace and Blessing from Allah

Your brother,

Imam Marshall Musa Muslim Abuwi

I feel bad for the iman young wife but I wish that Iman Mohammed had left a will, Islamic or otherwise. Perhaps, this mess with shirley and her kids would've long been settled by now! I understand how Bro Siddeeq feels because he wants Islamically what's best for his widowed child. I PERSONALLY will not be writing any checks for Mosque Cares or anything else until things are settled fairly and there are many Muslims out here who feel similiar.
