Imam Mohammed’s words define our community and the community must have undeniable access to them without having to ask permission first. Imam Mohammed’s works are not primarily a means to make money. They are a means with which to sustain the life in our community and give or sustain life in other communities. One very important reason the community must have unimpeded access to his works is that Imam Mohammed’s words DEFINE our community. Think about it. We call ourselves ‘the community of Imam W.D. Mohammed’. We didn’t follow a person just to follow a person. We followed a logic and an understanding that we found in his teachings. Thus it is only appropriate that we see his works as belonging to the community and not to any individual.

(6) In the end will ye (all), on the Day of Judgment, settle your disputes in the presence of your Lord.
( سورة الزمر , Az-Zumar, Chapter #39, Verse #31)
Here is a dispute, an unresolved-discrepancy existing since the passing of Imam W. D. Mohammed. And a test for the community of Muslims in the Association of Imam W. D. Mohammed.
(15) To thee We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have we prescribed a law and an open way. If Allah had so willed, He would have made you a single people, but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute;
( سورة المائدة , Al-Maeda, Chapter #5, Verse #48)
So this is more than a family dispute it is a TEST for the community a test for you and me!
A test is a stressful event; it often takes us out of or comfort-zone. But if we remain in that COMFORT-ZONE we FAIL-TO-GROW! And like the plant in the pot, it is ether growing or dying. It is not comfortable speaking out on this, I’m just an common-man who has-been and still-is-influenced by the public-figure, Imam W. D. Mohammed. There is an enrichment-process going-on in my-life because of the way-Imam W. D. Mohammed-follows the Prophet Muhammad ibn Abdullah (P.B.U.H.) and I’m not the only one experiencing this! An enrichment-process that has made me a part of the humanity, which includes all the many ethnic groups, religions, people (men and women) and they are a part of my life. And I love what is happening in my-life.
I am emphasizing growth because it is necessary.
This is a big problem if we are a small people. If we are small it is o.k. we just have to grow. And when we are grown we can look back and say that was a small problem. What grows us (human-beings) (muslim-human-beings)? What grows a seed, a hard-stone-like-seed? The answer is water. It causes the occurrence of growth. For those of us who-gave-an-ear to the Imam W. D. Mohammed presentation of the Holy Quran and the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) and unique outlook on life began the germination-process, just like the seed.
And as that happens we grow and when we grow that problem will seem like a spiders web, a fabricated-structure that only catches little bugs, (human-beings that fail-to-grow)
Back in the change from the Nation of Islam beginning in 1975 I remember many-changes in the language, in the positions or post in the temples now Masajid really more than I care-to-mention, along with people problems, much like what I’m hearing now. The only thing that did not change was the Holy-Qur’an and that’s what I am sticking with. My message for the young, old and in-between is read (research) your Qur’an and find the answers. It took a while, but not long, I began changing, seeing life different and enjoying a life better than I could ever imagine. Those people with those problems, if they have any growth, as human-beings, Muslims, would probably say quietly, in their hearts, I am sorry I behaved that way. Especially, if they have made the Hajj. If not, they have-failed-to-grow and if you are not growing like the plant in the pot you are dying. Anyway those problems and those people where a microcosm of the society, like a drop of water compared-to-the-ocean.
The Imam W. D. Mohammed shared a great-deal of his life with others and I thank Allah for that.

No one can monopolize the word of the creator, throughout histoy it has certainly been tried however to no avail.
Imam Muhammad Siddeeq, is to be commended for being on point as far as keeping the great masses of our community apprised– that is those who want to know– as to what is going on in places that we have no access to.
After the transition of Allah’s only universal messenger ever to all of humanity and our prophet Muhammed (s.a.w.), there was great confusion and misplaced loyalties, until a strong willed personality appeard on the scene to once again give stabillity to the believers of that time & it didn’t take long because, Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (ra), was already there. And of course the people of that time according to history, wanted him to be their leader. Al-hamdullilah!
Quote Imam W.Deen Mohammed’s ‘Ramadan Session 2005 October 21-23, 2006- The Homewood Hotel Homewood, IL. on page # 4 ” Allah (swt) is with us and He is going to be with us whether I’m here or not. And I see signs that He is with many of us, both males and females.
He is going to stay with us. Don’ think, ” What are we going to do when Imam W. Deen Mohammed is not with us anymore?” The same thing we did when the Hon. Elijah Mohammed was not with us anymore. Allah (swt) is going to show us the one we are supposed to support. Don’t worry about that and this is no farewell message”.
I, think that ultimately in my opinion, all of this discontering within our community is about leadership; of course their are many nuances of this big issue which is as I stated, leadership.
Who or what will be the leadership, G-d knows best where to place the leadership that He wants for the people. Until such time we the people are to “Keep on keeping on, because we cannot stop Now!
This issue with the Mohammed family, mother and son, about intellectual property rites / rights will be settled by the courts, either justly or unjustly take your pick, as a community we have been down that road before and we know what happened; in the manner of the ‘Nation of Islam’.
As this our community moves forward – in spite of- and it will, let’s concentrate on the positve things that Allah (swt) has given to us through Imam W. Deem Mohammed (ra), that in depth wonderful body of knowledge coupled with an understanding that has to be divine, given to us so that we can also bring light into a world that is engulfed in darkness.
Let us not forget our mission to “Remake the World” however, it starts within the self first and foremost;
we will be tried with all types of relevant issues that will affect us personally and communally wise, but let’s
preservere for the sake of a progressive and insha’ Allah, a glorious future.

In listening to you describe the title of your American Muslim 360 program I wanted to share with you an Ayah in the Qur’aan that may also serve as a foundation for your program title in which Imam Warithudeen Mohammed’s commentary on the Adhan is directly in line with this Ayah.
Surah 8 Ayah 24
O you who have faith, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.

How is life? Allah will continue to guide and protect you, stay close to what you have learned. The community Our Brother envisioned is going to happen regardless of what some do and say. Allah doesn’t break promises men do. Allah chose you trust your purpose.
