With the Name Allah, The Merciful-Benefactor, The Merciful-Redeemer
None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, alone who has no partners.
That Muhammad (prayers of Allah be upon him and the peace) is His slave and His messenger.
That Jesus (peace be on him) is Allah’s slave and His-messenger and His- word (“be and he was”) which He bestowed upon Mary and a spirit (ruh), created by Him and that
Paradise is the truth and hell is the truth.
And that Imam W. D. Mohammed (May Allah be-pleased with him) lived his life among us as a human-being believing in Allah and the Last-Day, in my-opinion, on the model of Messenger-Muhammad (prayers of Allah be upon him and the Peace) and on the model of Christ-Jesus (peace be on him).
Dear people: As-Salaam-Alaikum (the Peace be upon you.)
Now those people have passed away; unto them shall be accounted what they have earned, and unto you, what you have earned; and you will not be judged on the strength of what they did. 1
We hope the following words are an eye-opener. Open-your-eyes-to-what? Facilitate your awareness-to-your-strength, for you having-charge of your-intellect and using your-discretion. We anticipate the using of your-strength for respecting what-is-important! The liberating of the intellect is necessary for the purpose of respecting what-is-important. After the liberation of the intellect is the forming of societies and citizens. The moving of our intellect for a greater-vision, a greater-purpose, greater-responsibility and the liberation of the intellect and the promotion of man’s- freedom-space. In short the seeking of our-being-comfortable with ourselves in our-life, and our purpose on this Earth. Along with the above-stated-goals is the promotion of the established-(evolved)-human-person and the promotion of growth in the intellect of all people.
The purpose of the following-article is for the exposing of the scheme of Satan and his effect on the followers of Prophet-Muhammed (prayers and the Peace be on him), in America and though-out the world. For the removal of the burden and confusion on the people we are presenting The Holy Qur’an and the following-writing on the sayings of the Prophet Muhammed (prayers and the Peace be on him). Proclaiming the sacredness of life, property and honor of one-another. And how facts can be manipulated without regard for the established-order-of-operations. There are numerous-branches of learning and all having rules: mathematics, science, language, music, geography, and so on. We are presenting an example of the workings of the rules of the order of operation, here is the example: 4+4x4 =? There can-be two-answers. Which is the correct-answer? How do we know which answer is the right answer? We have the rule for the exact-information. Without the rules we proceed in an imprecise-manner. We are addressing this predicament in the following-communications. There are rules for everything, marriage, agriculture, martial-arts, basketball, football, law, language, faith, prayer, charity, fasting, pilgrimage, war, policing, governmental-responsibilities and much-more. Along with the rules there is a particular-language, it may be English, but not exactly the same English we speak. The doctor’s English is another language when compared to the lawyers-English, they don’t even have the same dictionary. This life on the Earth is short, I remember an 81 year old man telling me that he arrived at 81 years fast. The rules we have-inherited help us to utilize the time we have for the achievements in our-chosen-endeavors. The best-rule-book is the Holy-Qur’an, it is the rule-book or manual for life-itself and for the whole-creation. G-d’s manual, for all-humanity, for the whole-creation. The book that has served-human-intelligence for many-centuries.
Fact: The Imam W.D. Mohammed (may Allah be-pleased with him) said and the following statement (concerning his marriage to Khadijah), I married an exceptional-minded-human-being-----and you should stay out of private business!
The Solution: “your lives, property, and honor of one-another are sacred” THAT’S OUR BUSINESS!
The Solution: Abu Bakr reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was riding his camel and a man was holding its rein. The Prophet said, “What is the day today?” We kept quiet, thinking that he might give the day another name. The Prophet said, “Is it not the day of sacrificing?” We replied, “Yes.” The Prophet said, “Which month is this?” We again kept quiet, thinking that he might give it another name. The Prophet said, “Is it not the month of Dhul Hijja?” We replied, “Yes.” The Prophet said, “Verily, your lives, property, and honor are sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, and in this city of yours.
It is incumbent upon those who are present to inform those who are absent because those who are absent might understand what I have said better than the present audience.”
“O people, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as sacred, so regard the life, and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust.”2
Imam W. D. Mohammed ( may Allah be-pleased with him) says “man is mind”. Mind is the intellect, intelligence and understanding. Do we have control of our-intelligence? Or have we lost our-mind. If we do have the control of our-intellect, let us use the intelligence. We do not have, at this point, a judiciary-department for issuing orders or an executive-department for enforcing the orders of a judge however we can have a legislative-department. We can study our-laws and present-solutions from-our-perspective. And why can’t we share our-perspective with the existing-Judiciary?
On inheritance: a subject that needs our-collective-attention. And in the case of our-leader Imam W.D. Mohammed (may Allah be-pleased with him) we present in the following verse of the Qur’an one word, “bequest.” A few synonyms for the word “bequest” are legacy and endowment. The Book says, “after [the deduction of] any “bequest” they may have made, or any debt [they may have incurred].”
Here is a restatement of the rule: after [the deduction of] any “bequest”. Collective Purchasing
Conference [C.P.C.] is a legacy, a bequest and an endowment of the Imam W.D. Mohammed (may Allah be-pleased with him).
And you shall inherit one-half of what your wives leave behind, provided they have left no child; but if they have left a child, then you shall have one-quarter of what they leave behind, after [the deduction of] any bequest they may have made, or any debt [they may have incurred]. And your widows shall have one-quarter of what you leave behind, provided you have left no child; but if you have left a child, then they shall have one-eighth of what you leave behind, after [the deduction of] any bequest you may have made, or any debt [you may have incurred]. And if a man or a woman has no heir in the direct line, but has a brother or a sister, then each of these two shall inherit one-sixth; but if there are more than two, then they shall share in one-third [of the inheritance], after [the deduction of] any bequest that may have been made, or any debt [that may have been incurred], neither of which having been intended to harm [the heirs]. [This is] an injunction from God: and God is all-knowing, forbearing. - 4:12 (Asad) -
Now, we must give attention-to-the-word “injunction.” An injunction is not a request an injunction is a command, a ruling.
THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PRAYER AND THE PEACE BE ON HIM) SAID: "IN SURAT AL-FATIHAH THERE IS A BALM FOR ALL AILMENTS."
A balm is an ointment, a comfort that grants relief, a consolation for a grievance.
Ailments are sicknesses, dis-eases, disorders, complaints, or conditions.
O MANKIND! There has now come unto you an admonition from your Sustainer, and a cure for all [the ill] that may be in men’s hearts, and a guidance and grace unto all who believe [in Him]. 3
Abu Hurayrah reported that Prophet Muhammad (prayers and the Peace be on him.) said Allah, The Mighty and Most Sublime says, “I have divided the prayer Al Fatiha into two halves between Me and My Slave, and My slave will receive what he ask for.
When My Slave says, ‘Praise be to Allah The Lord of all the worlds,’ Allah The Most High says, ‘My Slave has praised Me.’
And when he (the slave) says, ‘The Most Gracious, The Most Compassionate’ Allah The Most High says, ‘My Slave has praised Me.’
And when he (the slave) says, ‘Master of the Day of Judgment,’ Allah The Most High says, ‘My Slave has glorified Me.’ And sometimes Allah would say, ‘My Slave has entrusted [his affairs] to Me.’
And when he (the slave) says, ‘You do we worship, and Your aid we seek.’ Allah says, ‘This is between Me and My Slave and My Slave will receive what he ask for.’
Then when he (the slave) says, ‘Guide us on the straight way, the way of those upon whom You have bestowed Your Grace. Those whose [portion] is not wrath and who go not astray.’ Allah The Most High says, ‘This is for My Slave and My Slave will receive what he ask for.’ 4
The Islamic Scholars are in complete agreement that Al-Fatiha (The Opening Chapter) was revealed in Makkah when the recitation became obligatory for Muslims. Some believe that it was also revealed in Madinah when the direction faced during prayer was change from Jerusalem to Makkah. Al-Fatiha is known by many names. In the Holy Qur’an it is called, “The Seven Oft-Repeated Verses,” because it is repeated in every Muslim’s prayers. It is also known as the Seven Twins (Holy Qur’an 15:87, 15:1,and 10: 1), The Chapter of Confidential Prayer, The Opening of the Book, The Mother of the Qur’an (The Book), The Treasure, The Sufficient, The Provider, The Chapter of Supplication, Divine Protection, The Praise, The Thanksgiving, The Foundation, The Whole, The Healer, The Healing, The Light, The Recoverer, The Recovery, The Chapter of Submission, The Essence of the Qur’an, The Basis of the Qur’an and the Chapter of Teaching How to Ask. 5
With the Name Allah, The Merciful-Benefactor, The Merciful-Redeemer.
Allah is The Understanding-Benefactor, He is Fore-knowing. Perhaps the ailments are a test fostering-our growth.
He is also The Compassionate-Liberator. Perhaps He sees we need a liberation and the situation we find ourselves in is a challenge for developing a potential that is dormant, inactive within us.
Here is a quote of Sister Khadijah Siddeeq-Mohammed, “WE NEED TO MAKE THE
THE SACRIFICE OF ABRAHAM
Allah asks him to sacrifice his son.
Son who is spiritually balanced, but may not stand up and protect this community that Abraham is building because he is sooo peace-loving, sooo peaceful, so when a wolf comes to tear down everything that Abraham builds-up, (he says) well Allah created everybody, he’s got to eat too, ok he is hungry, he has got to eat me, that’s great. So Prophet Abraham is like huh??? You know, So Allah tells him don’t kill your son,5
Imam W. D. Mohammed (May Allah be-pleased with him) explains it this way; “don’t kill your son, kill that tendency inside of the community to tolerate abuses and to tolerate people just taking your life from you and you go willingly to slaughter,” he said, “kill that tendency in us”. And I see that what we are struggling with, we are peace loving, we don’t like to fight we don’t like conflict, but we have to make that sacrifice, you have to stand up and say no! You’re not going do this! You will meet opposition. And it’s not --- you know you have to ask Allah’s guidance every step of the way, because every time you have to correct someone you can’t do it with a feather, you have to show some force! You have to ask, “did I use too much force did I say harsh words?” So you’re constantly on the prayer-rug. But you’ve got to do it, you’ve got to do it!”6
We have to-eliminate or destroy the tendency to tolerate abuses in our-community. We must implement or accomplish the stamping-out of the propensity, inclination and predisposition of tolerating, standing, bearing, abiding enduring, accepting, stomaching, allowing, putting up with abuses, misuses, exploitations, manipulations, mishandlings, misapplications, taking-advantage, mistreatments, cruelties and maltreatments. There are no-clerics in Al-Islam, no-Pope or anything like that.
According to the Holy-Qur’an the caretakers of the Garden were Adam and Eve.
That’s our challenge!
Behold, [O believers] it is you who are called upon to spend freely in God’s cause: but [even] among you are such as turn out to be niggardly! And yet, he who acts niggardly [in God’s cause] is but niggardly towards his own self: for G-d is indeed Self-Sufficient, whereas you stand in need [of Him]; and if you turn away [from Him], He will cause other people to take your place, and they will not be the likes of you.7
All the praise is for Allah, The Guardian-Evolver, The Cherisher and Sustainer of all the systems of knowledge.
The praise and magnification of Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of all-the-worlds (all-the-systems of knowledge); (logics of the data) (rulings of facts, records)
The Merciful-Benefactor, The Merciful-Redeemer.
The Understanding-Benefactor, The Compassionate-Liberator;
Master Of The Day Of Judgment. (APPRAISAL) OR (RULING)
Thee-Alone do we worship and Thee-Alone do we ask for help.
Thee-Alone do we venerate and Thee-Alone do we requests the facilitation. Trust!
Show us the straight-way,
Reveal unto us the traditional- system [the revealed-rules of the natural-life that bring-about-peace],
The way of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy favor, those whose portion is not wrath and who go not astray. 8
The way of the traditional-system, [the revealed-rules of the natural-life that bring-about-peace] on whom thou hast conferred Thy-refinement, those whose (measure) is not-lack of intelligence, and who-go-not in an imprecise-manner [erroneously].
The following is a quote on the first-steps of the ablution found in the book PRAYER AND Al-ISLAM, by the Imam Warithuddin Mohammed (may The Almighty-Allah be pleased with him.) He states, “Before making ablution we must mentally confirm our intentions so that our minds and hearts will not be influenced by the false values set by society. Make your ablution with the Name Allah, knowing that when we become attentive with both heart and mind, we can better answer the call to obey Allah and His Messenger. We say audibly or silently, “I am about to make my ablution for Allah, the Guardian Evolver, the Cherisher and Sustainer of all the worlds.” We then say, “With the Name Allah, the Most Gracious, The Most Compassionate.” We state our intentions to give reverence, respect, humility and obedience to Allah, The Most High, so that the physical action of ablution becomes a conscious one, and not just a routine exercise.” 9
We are here for a purpose. We have-endured hundreds of years in America for a purpose. That purpose is more than chattel-slavery. We must open our-eyes and see the greater-purpose. The praise is for Allah, The Understanding-Benefactor Who has bestowed upon humanity, especially us, so-much. We are grateful for Allah and we are grateful for our predicament. The challenge of enduring the harsh-treatment of the colonial-era and the Jim Crow era in America would not have-happened if it were not the will of Allah, and so we accepted the challenge, endured the adversity and patiently and meticulously took the steps with the Help of our Creator, striving step by step following the guidance of Allah, until Allah the Compassionate-Liberator, guided and guides us for the best conclusion. In the life of every-human-being is the natural-requirement that their intellect be-liberated and we must seek the greater-responsibility of being-comfortable with ourselves in our-life and our-purpose on this Earth.
SUPPLICATIONS DURING ABLUTION
It is recommended that the following supplications be offered while performing ablution.
WHEN WASHING HANDS: O Allah, I ask of You good fortune and blessing, and I seek refuge in You from misfortune and destruction. 10
The Imam W. D. Mohammed (May Allah be-pleased with him) says, “We begin our ablution by washing the right hand three times to remind us of our duty to uphold that which is right.
We are not to act physically, mentally or spiritually in a corrupt way. The hands are used to symbolize action, and the right hand is symbolic of conscious acts. In order to correct our unconscious actions we must first discipline our conscious actions. We depend upon our hands to help us be productive in business, defense, literature and many other areas.” 11
WHEN WASHING THE RIGHT HAND: O Allah, give me the record of my deeds in my right hand and subject me to an easy Judgment! 12
We have a “duty to uphold that which is right” and not to act physically, mentally or spiritually in a corrupt-way. When faced with a challenge, action is required, the challenge is a test, that’s all the challenge is, a test. The right-hand is symbolic of our conscious-actions. We are unconsciously passing from-year-to-year avoiding-facing-the-test of the passing of our-leader, Imam W. D. Mohammed (May Allah be-pleased with him). In the beginning, from-day-one, we witnessed the Hand of the Merciful-Liberator in the life of Imam W. D. Mohammed (may Allah be-pleased with him) and in the destiny of a people. We shared a common-birthday, February 26, 1975. Is it now over? Do you want to-give-up and just have Masajid and Islamic-clerics for the coming-thousands-of years? Or do you want-to-face the present-challenge, follow the guidance, and apply the Qur’an in a positive, creative-way to-find not-[a]-solution, but the best-solution for the challenge-at-hand. We can do it! To borrow a phrase from the American-leader President Barak Obama, “YES WE CAN! I am looking forward to the completion of the statement of the President, when we can say, “YES WE DID!” We must correct our unconscious-actions. This is a call for ablution!
WHEN WASHING THE LEFT HAND: O Allah, I seek refuge in You that I may not be given the record of deeds in my left hand or from behind my back! 13
The Imam continues to say, “Next, we wash the left hand three times. The left hand is symbolic of our impulsive or unconscious acts. These acts are subject to negative influences when our conscious acts are not rightly oriented. Washing the left hand reminds us of our responsibility to give help to those who are oppressed and culturally blind. Prophet Muhammad (prayers and the Peace be on him) said to his followers, “Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one.” When the people asked Prophet Muhammad (prayers and the Peace be on him), how could they help their brother if he were an oppressor, he answered, “By preventing him from oppressing others.” [Through appealing to his conscience.]”14
Now is the time for the washing of our left-hand, our impulsive or unconscious acts that are subject- to-negative-influences when our conscious-acts are not-rightly-oriented. How can that be? Let us look at math, through the order of operations, as a sign and see how that is possible.
Take the simple equation 4+4x4 = (?),
Each number is a fact.
4 + 4 X 4 = 20 or 4 + 4 X 4 = 32
For the following of the math-operations with the claim of the correct-answer. For the first-order of a math-operation is 1st multiply, 2nd divide, 3rd addition and 4th subtraction.
4 + 4 X 4 = 20 = CORRECT-answer.
The correct answer can be found by following the rules for the order of operations.
Upon the passing of our esteemed-leader Imam W. D. Mohammed (May Allah be-pleased with him) there were and are problems within his family. We recall a Jumah-Prayer, in the community-segment by Imam W. D. Mohammed (May Allah be-pleased with him) wherein he addressed his marriage with Khadijah and I recall him saying, “But Imam W Deen Mohammed can’t marry a girl 20 without being suspected, you say this is a Khutba you shouldn’t bring that in, yes I should, The Kutba is for correcting Muslim behavior. And really I feel sorry for you who are hurt, because you are not in my house, I’m sorry maybe you should have came before she came. Who knows -----so I have to defend myself, yes and the right of self-defense is supported by the law of the land, yes, I have to defend myself, and so you don’t have to get spooky and religious to understand that, the courts of the land give me my rights to defend myself. If my name is slandered or whatever and I know if that person is saying this, that, there are others saying it and thinking it. And then there’s our enemies feeding on it and feeding it to others. I get letters from Muslims saying, now, I doubt your integrity, because you married a female much younger, considerably younger than yourself. That makes a man lose, lose his respect, just because he marries a woman much younger than himself, I didn’t marry an imbecile, I didn’t marry a moron, I didn’t marry a retarded person, I married an exceptional-minded-human-being-----and you should stay out of private business! (From the audience, applause, Takbir! Allah-u-Akbar!) You’ll never hear me getting into the private affairs—I do not go into a man’s house, that’s his house, I don’t go into a man’s house without his permission. And those who know me will tell you, they have to almost beg me to get into their personal business, that’s not my interest, it’s not my nature to get into another persons’ personal business. You know the life of my father, that he had with women, I never condemned him because of that, no I didn’t, especially knowing he was a Bible man, reading that kings had hundreds of wives, hundreds of concubines, midwives, concubines, oh no what they call them? Handmaids, yes, many-many wives, than even bigger numbers in handmaids.”
So when he passed and family problems manifested, I heard some people say, that is a family problem and I am staying out of it!
And, I agree with that!
Now, what about our-heritage? The history, era or the chapter in and of our generation is not only our-heritage but the heritage of the descendants of those who survived the agony of the cruel and inhumane mid-Atlantic-slave-trade and the centuries of afflictions. The epoch that gave birth to men and women like David Walker, Gabriel Prosser, Nat Turner, Frederick Douglas, John Brown, Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, Toussiant L’Overture, Dr. George Washington Carver, Booker T. Washington, Marcus Garvey, William Ware, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Sister Clara Muhammad, the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Coretta Scott King, Ralph Abernathy, El Hajj Malik El Shabazz [Malcolm X], Betty Shabazz, Congressman Rev. Adam Clayton Powell, James Shabazz, Imam Ali K. Muslim, our-parents, Grand and Great-Grandparents (May the Almighty have mercy upon them-all) and the Esteemed and Honorable-Imam W. D. Mohammed (May Allah be-pleased with him). The list goes on, so we are stopping at this point.
The heritage of not only the descendants of slaves, but the heritage of America, men like President Thomas Jefferson, President George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Patrick Henry, Presidents James Madison, Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, and many-more men and women, just to-name-a-few.
The shared or common-heritage of The Prophets, Abraham, Moses, Jesus (Peace be upon them) and the Prophet Muhammad ibn Abdullah (prayers and the Peace be on him.) The men and women of faith left a profound-influence upon our-individual, family and social-development.
Let us recognize that many-citizens of our-planet value the excellence of our-heritage and are receiving economic, scientific, military, agricultural and political-benefits of our-heritage, friend and foe-alike. Let us recognize the big-picture, the evolution of human-society and eschatology.
Allah has blessed us with a common birthday February 26, 1975! Prior to that date it was like we were wearing a bad pair of prescription-glasses. Now we have a new-prescription and we see much- better. We are born-again and we have a common-destiny and a common-inheritance, a common-birthright.
What about that birthright? 1975 to 2017, 42 years, as individuals we have and have-had a light for our-lives in a society full of challenges, we now have solutions, as parents we have guidance for our children and as a community we have love and appreciation for the excellence of the service that we see in one-another. We see the Holy-Qur’an with common-sense and we behold our-Prophet Muhammad (prayers and the Peace be on him) and G-d’s-Messenger with clearity, we see him as the best-model for any who believe in G-d and the last-day. We have good-relationships with the people of other faiths and a unique-appreciation for the creations of the Almighty, which includes us-all of many races, nationalities and faiths. The story is a global-phenomena, go to the AFTER MALCOM INTERVIEWS on the internet and hear some-accounts for yourself. We were-not at this level of life 50 years ago. We are ordinary-people having extraordinary-lives.
We must be rightly-oriented, 4+4x4 =20 and
We must refuse the deceptive–conclusions that the Satan suggest: 4+4x4 = 32 and see the community-challenge separate from-the-family-challenge on the bases of Suratul-Nas.
Say: “I seek refuge with the Sustainer of men,
The Sovereign of men,
The G-d of men,
“from the evil of the whispering, elusive tempter,”
“Who whispers in the hearts of men,”
“from all [temptation to evil by] invisible forces as well as men” 15
May Allah bless the family of Imam W. D. Mohammed (May Allah be-pleased with him) with the best-equitable-solution.
The Imam W. D. Mohammed (May Allah be-pleased with him) says, “Washing the left hand reminds us of our responsibility to give help to those who are oppressed and culturally blind. 16
Prophet Muhammad (prayers and the Peace be on him) said to his followers, “Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one.”
When the people asked Prophet Muhammad (prayers and the Peace be on him), how could they help their brother if he were an oppressor, he answered, “By preventing him from oppressing others.” [Through appealing to his conscience.]” 17
We repeat the Imam Wallace D. Mohammed (May Allah be-pleased with him) said “Washing the left-hand reminds us of our-responsibility to give help to those who are oppressed-and-culturally-blind.” We have a duty, the liberation of the oppressed-and-traditionally-unseeing. We repeat, Prophet Muhammad (prayers and the Peace be on him) said to his followers, “Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed-one.” When the people asked Prophet Muhammad (prayers and the Peace be on him), how could they help their brother if he were an oppressor, he answered, “By preventing him from oppressing-others.” [Through appealing to his conscience.]” We highlight the word “preventing” a verb, an action word. What is the action, who is the actor and who is the recipient of the action?
- The action: PREVENTING: the act of stopping, counteracting, blocking or putting-a-stop-to-something. [By requesting of the conscience of the oppressor.]
- The actor: The followers of Prophet Muhammad (prayers and the Peace be on him.)
- The recipient of the action: Your-brother.
Finally the Imam says, “We should be positively influenced by people who have more strength or understanding than ourselves. Those with less moral and spiritual knowledge should voluntarily support those with greater knowledge; those who have good moral characters, stronger faith, and who courageously resist injustices and corrupt influences.” 18
In the ablution of the hands is a sign for those who-have-attained-unto-faith.
For the life, property and honor of one-another.
Your-brother in the faith of Al-Islam,
R. Bilal Nasir
