To:  Members of the press who covered the passing of Imam W. D. Mohammed

We the SINCERE and HONEST members of Imam W. D. Mohammed’s community are releasing this information to you at this time because it is the morally responsible thing to do.

On Tuesday,  September 9, 2008 it was reported that Imam Wallace D Mohammed was found dead in his home in Markham, Illinois.   On Wednesday Sept. 10th a press conference was called by the Mohammed family under the guise of representing the interest of Imam Mohammed’s community while in fact their goal was to represent the personal and private interest of the family of Shirley Mohammed, his divorced ex-wife.  The press from around the world were invited to attend this conference which was held at the Muslim Journal Newspaper office located at 1141 W. 75TH St Homewood Illinois, 60430.  At some point in this press conference FALSE AND DAMAGING INFORMATION WAS INTENTIONALLY GIVEN TO THE PRESS  stating that Shirley Mohammed, a woman who Mr. Mohammed was married to over 40 years ago and had 4 children by was his surviving widow when in fact they had been divorced for years.  This information was not correct and was malisciously given to you so that you would disseminate this false information around the world to help these deceiving people conspire to steal the identity of Imam Mohammeds present and only wife, Khadijah Siddeeq Mohammed and to place their mother Shirley Mohammed, Mr. Mohammed’s divorced ex-wife in a position to be the recipient of all the possible charities, honors and respect that would flow forth from around the world due to the passing of this internationally renown and respected Muslim LEADER.  

This terrible injustice has caused tremendous embarrassment and pain to the true surviving widow of Mr. Mohammed, my daughter Khadijah Siddeeq Mohammed.  We realize that you are not at fault for this intentional manipulated error but would be greatly appreciative if you would make  a correction on this issue by using your media outlet to let the world know the truth, that Khadijah Siddeeq Mohammed was the true wife of Imam W. D. Mohammed.   This we are asking you to do so that she will not have to continue to suffer both the pain of the loss of her Husband, Imam W. D. Mohammed and the implication that she and her honorable Husband were living in a state of dishonor and hypocrisy while deceiving the public in thinking that they were married.

These people were not content on just stealing Khadijah’s identity and forcing her to attend her husbands funeral in the last (#5) family car in the funeral procession while placing their mother Shirley in car #1 right behind the hearse, they changed the locks on Khadijah’s  home and put her into the street with no money or a place to stay that very next day after  her husband died.  After obtaining a lawyer and promising to pay her in the future and having her contact the police she  gained access to her home and belongings,  Khadijah discovered  that important items were missing from her home which included her husbands wallet, his credit cards, his personal check book, the keys to his car, their marriage certificate and other important items.  

One can go online and go to Khadijah’s website www.siddeeq.com/khadijah  and witness her and Imam Mohammed getting married and taking the vows of marriage which supports what I am telling you.  You may also randomly seek out members of Imam Mohammed’s community and they too will bear witness to this that I am telling you to be factual.  There is much more that I can share with you so I have included an informational document that goes into detail about all of these facts and I am also enclosing my contact number and the contact number for Mr. Sultan Mohammed, the spokesperson for the Mohammed family who must bear responsibility for all of what I am reporting to you.   Before sending you this release I spoke to Sultan Mohamed and he has assured me that he would not mislead or misinform you on the truth of this matter if he is contacted by you.

I am thanking you in advance for correcting this terrible injustice perpetrated upon  my daughter, Imam Mohammed’s sincere and honorable followers and all of those who loved and respected him around the world,  By publishing a correction on this matter and letting the world know the truth.  You will have gone a long way in preserving the honorable dignified reputation  of a wonderful G-d fearing man who deserves to be remembered in the dignity and honor  that he gave his life for and lived by.  

Within a week I plan to release the second part of this strange and unjust situation which will be comprised of legal documents, transcripts etc to further support what I am saying to be the truth.
