ANOTHER OPEN APPEAL TO WALLACE, SHIRLEY, LAILA AND N’GINA MUHAMMAD TO:
LEAVE THE COURT AND TRUST THE QUR’AN

“LET’S DO WHAT ALMIGHTY G-D ALLAH WOULD HAVE US DO”.

July 24, 2009

Imam W. D. Mohammed stated in Cleveland, Ohio on 10-15-00:
SUCCESS DEPENDS ON YOU NOT GOING AGAINST G-D.

What does it take to awaken the heart and mind of our Editor of the Muslim Journal to be Fair and responsible as a Muslim and a journalist to the Muslim community that supports the Muslim Journal? I was approached in the Court Room of Judge Budzinski, the presiding Judge for the Probate case, that will decide who will be the administrator over the estate of Imam W. D. Mohammed, by Muslim Journal writer, Samuel A. Bilal who asked me would we be willing to give him an interview once this case is finalized and the judge has rendered his decision. Brother Bilal informed me that the Editor of the Journal had asked him to interview both sides of the case and publish the results and publish them in the Journal. I told him that I was sure that Khadijah would be willing and I would also be willing. At the time that he asked me that question we were sitting waiting for the Judge to take the bench and begin hearing cases. Shortly thereafter we learned that Judge Budzinski was ill and would not be present this day and that a Pro Tem (substitute Judge) would be sitting in for him. When the substitute judge took the stand he, after reviewing our case, decided not to hear it and let it wait for judge Budzinski, but he did offer us some very important advice. Brother Bilal decided to write a story on the advice that the judge gave us and published it in the Journal which caught the attention and admiration of all of those who read said story.

One person who read the writing of Brother Bilal was Imam Bilal Yasin El-Amin and he in turn forwarded me an email encouraging me to give the Qur’an and Islam another try in settling this case. Upon reading Brother Imam El-amin’s email to me which reflected many other emails and phone calls that I had already received from many Muslim brothers and sisters. I wrote the enclosed article and immediately called Sister Editor Ayesha Mustafaa and asked her would she please publish it. I chose to call her and alert her to the fact that I was sending said article to the Journal knowing that very few if any of my writings have been published in the Journal on this issue. I believed that since the article that I had written was basically driven by what the Muslim Journal writer Samuel Bilal had written and clearly was information that needed to be disseminated to the Muslim public and since I kept the article limited to a sincere appeal to help save our community from the endless fall out that will occur as a result of this law suit that Shirley Muhammad has filed to establish her fraudulent claim that she was the wife of Imam Mohammed at the time of his death, I believed that any responsible journalist would be compelled to publish said article.

After my initial call to Sister Ayesha alerting her that I was sending said article, I never heard back from her as to what she would or would not do as far as publishing our response to a Muslim Journal writers article and a second public appeal to leave the Cook County Courts and turn as sincere Muslims to our Holy book the Qur’an to resolve this issue. She never returned my call and three editions of Muslim Journal have been published since I first wrote this article appealing to Wallace Mohammed Jr. and his family to join me and my family in abandoning the court case and allowing the Qur’an and Islam to be the judge and deciding factor in this case.

My thinking was and is that regardless as to how Sister Ayesha Mustafaa might feel about me personally, she has a professional and moral responsibility to this community who identify with the leadership of Imam W.D. Mohammed and support the Muslim Journal, to publish all information that is in the interest of that public that she, is committed to serve. To arbitrarily choose not to inform or to delay informing the Muslims because of some narrow bias or prejudice is un professional and unacceptable and the Muslim community should let her know just that.

However, time is now of the essences and the court case is scheduled to commence. I have enclosed the article that I had written and sent to the Muslim Journal and was rejected by Sister Editor Ayesha Mustafaa for publishing and will now proceed to publish it on my own website and circulate it as best as I can so that you brothers and sisters who have been encouraging and insisting on our not being in the public courts with this case can see that we, the Siddeeq family have made another sincere effort to turn to the Qur’an for the solution of this matter and did not make any preconditions that could be used as an excuse for not accepting this sincere appeal. I have been informed that Sister Ayesha did forward our appeal to Wallace and to that end we are grateful. As of this date we have not heard one word back from Sister Editor Ayesha Mustafaa nor Wallace Mohammed Jr. on this matter. Therefore I am personally publishing the appeal that was released to the Muslim Journal three Journal editions ago:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WITH ALLAH’S NAME THE MERCIFUL BENEFACTOR, THE MERCIFUL REDEEMER

July 8, 2009

AS-Salaamu-Alaikum
Dear Brother Wallace Mohammed Jr.

I am writing you as the head of your family and inspired by the dynamic article in the Muslim Journal written by our Brother and reporter Samuel Ayub Bilal, Volume 34, Number 40, July 3, 2009, pp. 7 and 9. If you will recall, and I do believe that we both were present to witness these words that Brother Bilal wrote in our paper. Judge Perivolidis all but quoted the Qur’an. He all but said: “Muslims, this court should not have to settle your differences for you.” As I was reminded by one of our most faithful and dedicated Imam’s, Brother Yasin El-Amin, who wrote me and encouraged me to try again. Try again to do what Allah would have us do.

Brother Imam El-Amin, went on quoting our brother reporter Bilal saying, this “folksy” judge said it right out as plain as day. Take five minutes to talk to each other. Stop giving your money to lawyers (and this court). Apply your Qur’an. Use your common sense, and respect each other.

Further inspired by reporter Bilal’s writing, Imam El-Amin admonished me by writing:
“Dear Muslims, we don’t need a judge to tell us this. But having been told, can we not now follow the Qur’an in this matter? There have been two national meetings of imams, but this case has not been on the agenda. Why not? Please don’t say this is a private matter with which we have noting to do, and it should not be discussed in a public forum such as this. This is an Islamic forum. The case is now in a public, Christian court, and now in the Muslim Journal, a publication that is read all over the world. Don’t you feel embarrassed? And hurt? I do.”

So Brother Wallace, I speak as the head of my family to you as the head of your family on the eve of this Community’s National Convention and observance of Ramadan. Let’s put the law suits aside and sit down as Muslims should and resolve these issues–that have divided us and will continue to divide us–according to our Qur’an and our religion Al-Islam.

I am forwarding this letter to Sister Editor Ayeshah Mustafaa for publication and asking her to simultaneousl
y forward this appeal to you. If you accept our effort or want time to think about it we can both appeal to the court for a temporary continuance in our legal matter scheduled to commence on August 3, 2009. Please let sister editor know your response in a timely fashion so that we will not be in violation of the court procedure if you choose to continue on using the Chicago Courts to resolve our Islamic concerns.

As-Salaamu-Alaikum
Brother Muhammad Siddeeq

P.S. After the Judge made his suggestion that the two families talk directly to one another, the attorney for Shirley Muhammad approached Khadijah’s Attorney while the court was on recess and told her that after listening to the Judges recommendation, Shirley had consented to recognize Khadijah as a legitimate heir. Before Khadijah’s attorney could fully make this report to Khadijah, Shirley’s attorney re-approached Khadijah’s attorney and told her that Shirley had changed her mind and instructed him to tell Khadijah that she (Shirley) was standing by her original position of not recognizing Khadijah as a legitimate heir despite what the Judge had suggested.

WITH ALLAH’S NAME THE MERCIFUL BENEFACTOR, THE MERCIFUL REDEEMER

June 10, 2009

Imam W. D. Mohammed, 3 days after 911, said:
“…THIS WORLD IS MESSED UP BECAUSE
TOO MANY PEOPLE WILL GIVE FALSEHOOD
THEIR PHYSICAL OR SILENT SUPPORT…”

Imam Mohammed, long before he passed, recognized and stated that one of the most serious problems we would face as a people and a community was the refusal of so-called good people to have the courage and the will to stand up and speak out for the truth. He spoke of our responsibility as Muslims and told us that “as Muslims you must stand up for what is right and do not compromise on right.” Ironically, we are witnessing his many warnings and admonitions coming true in this community today. And why are we witnessing such? Because “too many people in this community have given falsehood their physical or silent support”.

Recently in the Chicago Probate Court, Imam W. D. Mohammed’s widowed wife, Khadijah Siddeeq Mohammed, had to defend herself and the Honorable name of Imam W. D. Mohammed as the legitimate wife of Imam Mohammed. Before going to court she was able to hire a lawyer after first raising thousands of dollars donated by a small group of faithful Muslims and five thousand dollars lent to her by her home Masjid in Indianapolis, Indiana. Certainly, we the parents and family of Khadijah are grateful for those who stood up and offered financial support, affidavits, moral support and prayers during this most trying time (which continues till June 15th). However, is it fair or right for a small number of faithful and dedicated Muslims to shoulder a community responsibility that should have and could have been undertaken by this community had the entire community of Muslims honored and fulfilled their Islamic responsibility and obligation? Had the Muslims stood up and properly carried out their responsibility as our Qur’an teaches us to do then there would not have ever been a court case. As I reflected over the reports that have been made public concerning some recent Imams’ meetings around this country and the publications that claim to represent the interest of this community, I am obliged to note the “this is none of our business” spirit that has permeated this community as it relates to this most serious concern.

The convener of one said southern meeting of Imams just out right closed the door on the offer of Khadijah to speak via telephone to these “Imams of Imam W. D. Mohammed” to explain to them exactly what has transpired in this case. They had more important things to do and had no interest whatsoever in hearing Khadijah, much less offer support for the defense of Imam Mohammed’s good name and legacy. At the Louisville Imam’s meeting, Khadijah’s intent to defend the honor of Imam Mohammed was never even considered worthy of being an agenda item, and when an effort was advanced to speak on it (at the very end of the meeting) that effort was immediately attempted to be stifled and rejected by those who are determined to see this matter fail.

Now bear in mind The Honorable Congressman Keith Ellison from Minnesota, who I respect highly, was not on the agenda in Louisville, Kentucky; however, he was given prime time with no limitation to speak and explain his political concerns for this community. The irony of this is, according to the report that came back to me, not one Imam raised the point that the Congressman was not on the agenda (which they attempted to do when support for Khadijah’s marriage to Imam Mohammed was raised) and that this was a serious Imams meeting and that allowing the Congressman to speak in this particular setting would technically be a serious breech of “our” protocol as established by Im am W. D. Mohammed and out of order for an Imam’s meeting in the association of Imam W. D. Mohammed. Now I’m not blaming the congressman for the weakness of the Imams but I am merely pointing out how one-sided, weak and insensitive some of these so-called leaders of this community are–especially those who claim to have found the speck in Khadijah’s eye and do not see the camel in their own. If those persons who raised the red flag on Khadijah’s situation were sincere, honest and objective Muslims, they would have voiced a concern over every so-called non-agenda contributor who was given time to speak at said meeting, but their selective discrimination is a clear indictment to their unjust intent and a testimony to the fact that they are not devoted to following the path that Imam Mohammed left for his Imams to follow. So they were and are witnesses against themselves. Now bear in mind, I am not saying what they are doing is wrong or out of order for a general meeting… what I am saying is what they are doing is not representative of the concerns and interest that reflect faithful followers of Imam W. D. Mohammed. Imam Mohammed clearly and openly insisted that we never mingle our religious Islamic concerns and efforts with any political persons no matter how prominent or popular they are. In fact, he specifically asked those members of this community who were political or civil workers in government not to attend or participate in our religious or policy-making meetings so as to avoid any potential conflict of interest either real or perceived.

Is it possible that the convener of this meeting and the one hundred and twenty Imams attending the Louisville meeting did not know or remember Imam Mohammed publicly and openly insisting that we follow and obey his admonishment to keep the politicians physically out of our special policy and religious type meetings? These Imams, not only openly disobeyed keeping them out, they unhesitatingly gave them a platform to speak from which is totally against everything Imam Mohammed taught and cautioned us against. So these Imams get angry with me for pointing out their blatant disregard for Imam Mohammed’s direction for this community but do not have the will to stand up for what they know is what Imam Mohammed taught.

Why do they think they know better than Imam Mohammed? Their attitude is “Oh, what difference does it make, we can’t insult these fine politicians…” If these “fine politicians” were really friends of this community and know what Imam Mohammed respectfully requested of them, why would they insist on going against what they knew was the rule of Imam W. D. Mohammed (after he died but not while he lived)? Bare in mind this rule was set to help protect them in their sensitive political roles and not to hurt or slight them. Ignoring Imam Mohammed’s admonishment will only cause them problems down the road in their public careers.

What is really shocking is the number of Muslims who are members of some Center or Masjid across this country, allegedly in the association of our great leader Imam W. D. Mohammed, who have not heard one word in their (Masaajid) Masjids and Centers from their Imam on any of these issues that I am raising in this writing. Nor have they witnessed their Imam attempt to have their communities raise and donate one cent on behalf of Khadijah’s struggle to defend the good name of Imam Mohammed in the Probate court against the lies and viciousness of the Imam’s divorced ex-wife Shirley and her children, Wallace, Laila and N’gina Muhammad. Not only have they not been informed of what is going on in the Probate court, or encouraged to financially support this effort, they have never been informed by their Imam as to the vicious un-Islamic attacks that these same evil people perpetrated on Khadijah during the Janazza of Imam Mohammed. So what are we witnessing at these Centers and Masjids that are using the good name of Imam Mohammed as a cover for their own personal selfish goals and ambitions? We’re witnessing the abdicating of responsibility by the believers to weak and unfaithful Imams and leaders.

/>Why are these Imams afraid to bring before Imam Mohammed’s followers the truth as to what is happening to Imam Mohammed’s widowed wife and young dependent children? Why don’t they want the believers to know that Imam Mohammed’s gravesite is a disgrace and mockery for this great and wonderful man? Because they see the believers as their personal cash cow and realize that if you, the true believers discover all of the neglect that is going on by them (these derelict leaders) and all of the support and responsibility that is being neglected and denied to those persons that Imam Mohammed loved and cherished you would demand that they redirect those resources that they are now parlaying to support their personal little empires. They realize that you would demand that they support what Imam Mohammed would want for you to support. Therefore, they keep the believers in the dark like slaves and spoon-feed them information that they think is in their best interest–like slave masters treat their slaves.

Take for instance the position or lack of position of one prominent Imam in this community who wants you to believe the false idea that he and Imam Mohammed were close colleagues and partied together in their youth–who will not hesitate to sell you his tapes and books so that his family can eat. He claims such a close association with Imam Mohammed but did not and has not uttered one single word in defense of Imam Mohammed’s name being scandalized and drug in the mud. Does that sound like a close colleague or friend to you? However, it has been reported that this same opportunist did not hesitate to stand up and offer unlimited support a nd adulations for those who are scandalizing Imam Mohammed’s reputation and good name and has never taken offense with their scandal though he constantly has a microphone in his hand to speak to this community and has access to Muslim Journal more than any other person in this community.

This Imam, a staunch reader and reciter of the Qur’an who was called in as a witness by Imam Mohammed on at least one occasion for both a marriage and a divorce, just out right refuses to be guided by the admonitions in the Qur’an that he so eloquently recites but obviously does not believe or follow. When it became clear that this person was not going to stand up and speak out as a witness to what he witnessed I wrote him and respectfully requested that he call me or write me back and share with me what he witnessed perchance he could help shine some light on what Imam Mohammed’s widowed wife is going through. As of this day I have not heard one word back from him. Yet, he wants you, the believers in this community to believe that he had some special relationship or association with Imam Mohammed. This persons unacceptable actions speak volumes for what kind of relationship he obviously had with Imam Mohammed.

Lost and damn near forgotten in this struggle are the key persons who are suffering and will suffer the most if this matter that Shirley Mohammed has used your money to take to the courts is not administrated by an honorable administrator, which at this point Wallace, Shirley, Laila and N’gina have not proven to be. I am speaking of Imam Mohammed’s three youngest children who reside in Arkansas. Perhaps it is my fault for using the name “Khadijah” so much when in fact, as I have previously written, Khadijah is only a representative for the best interest of Imam Mohammed and not in a struggle for personal gain. We, the members of this community know that Imam Mohammed had three children who need some serious help, Deejah, Dorie and Mohammed. These three, the youngest being 18 years old, should be assisted by this community. But are we doing that? I doubt it very seriously. Why not? Because the leaders of this community want to tour the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville while they discuss THEIR AGENDA as they ignore the real priority concerns of Imam Mohammed’s community.

If one hundred and twenty Imams can afford to travel to Louisville, Kentucky at an approximate average cost of $200.00 per Imam and stay in the hotel there for an approximate cost of $200 dollars per Imam and spend perhaps $100 on miscellaneous items, that is collectively, approximately $60, 000 spent to discuss and not resolve issues that have no priority demand on this community’s focus. Then why can’t they offer some meaningful support to those who Imam Mohammed loved and supported? While these Imams debate what amounts to: whether the world is square or round or whether we should eat one meal a day or three, Imam Mohammed’s younger children and widowed wife stand critically neglected by the true architect of this so-called Imams’ meeting, Wallace Mohammed, Jr. Now if that was not a big enough slap in the face, I have just been informed that they are going for a repeat performance in June and this time they are going to charge $25 registration fee and they are going to sell the CD or DVD of their former meeting. So this will be approximately another sixty thousand plus dollars totaling approximately $120,000. The organizers stated that if any money from the sales of their CD AND DVD will be donated to the Imam Mohammed Center. A center that Imam Mohammed never requested nor was enthused about.

Now bear in mind these are supposed to be alert, wide awake leaders, followers of Imam W. D. Mohammed. Sixty thousand dollars spent, and another sixty to be spent and not one red cent is offered to either the young children of Imam Mohammed or for the litigating of this probate case which deals with the settling of the estate of Imam Mohammed by the same young lady that these so-called leaders all but burnt up her phone line while Imam Mohammed was alive, trying to get her to relay their concerns to Imam Mohammed.

Whether you realize it or not, while all of this is going on, Wallace Jr. is using your money that you donate to this community to support his mother, Shirley Mohammed, to condemn and lie on Imam Mohammed and pay her attorney fees to fight against the lady whom Imam Mohammed came to you and introduced to you as his wife–who is struggling with very little community support to survive and defend against these vicious lies and attacks.

Now if you are in a Masjid or Center and have not heard any of this information that I have reported explained to you before this writing, and still don’t hear any explained after this writing, know for sure that you are possibly on a plantation with a modern day slave master in charge.

Had these Imams been sincere and alert as to what should be their first priority and would have asked the question as to how they could best complete, know, understand and report on all matters concerning Imam Mohammed, first and foremost these issues would have been what was taken back to the followers of Imam Mohammed for approval, but they had their own agenda and Imam Mohammed’s name is only a pass to get to their private and personal concern.

Perhaps, had these so-called Imam’s of Imam Mohammed made Imam Mohammed their first concern they might have noticed that when one goes to the cemetery where Imam Mohammed is buried the only thing that is present there is some dirt with no grass or head stone on it…not even a respectful grave marker for a man of this great sacrifice and contribution. And his so-called close followers living and thriving on the strength of Imam Mohammed s good name are all but dead or fast asleep for nearly one year after his death and are debating on “how to change what Imam Mohammed has already established without being detected as doing so.”

Are we witnessing slave camps being run by modern day slave masters and turf lords? Any Imam who uses the name Imam W. D. Mohammed in any way to address his own personal choice on what is and what is not a priority goal while simultaneously ignoring those
clearly established concerns of Imam Mohammed is not a true supporter of Imam Mohammed and has not had the will or courage to first and foremost insist on a thorough investigation surrounding the death of Imam W. D. Mohammed and the criminal circumstances being heaped upon Khadijah Siddeeq Mohammed (the wife of Imam Mohammed) and the neglect of his young un-established children, and is using you–the true followers of Imam Mohammed–and your charity to pump up his own personal goals and, therefore, does not deserve your local support nor the support of any Muslim in this association.
Why should any Muslim be made a slave in this day of pure light and freedom? The Muslims who are wide awake need to get together and make these so-called leaders responsible or remove these false leaders from their slave master position that they have assumed over YOUR COMMUNITY. You do not have to wait for any so-called ratification date to do this. If the majority of the Muslims decide that these persons who insist on functioning as a slave masters have to go, you need only to call for a vote and vote those modern day slave masters and turf lords out of office. At the same time you should quad-triple your support for those dedicated and devout Imams who clearly are standing on the established principles of Imam Mohammed. Why should you sit back and watch the weak spineless so-called leaders build up their own personal “empires” and ignore the strong and faithful ones as the weak ones subtly change and destroy what Imam Mohammed built up to gain support for their selfish vision and goal.

Don’t you realize that if these cowards do not have the strength to unite with the strong Imams and stand up for the legacy of Imam Mohammed, his young dependent children and the lady that they know was the legitimate wife of Imam Mohammed, you do not stand a chance to get their support or help if ever anything goes down and you are persecuted. If they do not immediately change their ways, put them out of business before they ruin everything that Imam Mohammed struggled, lived and died for and that the devout Muslims and their faithful Imams are willing to do the same for.

I have traveled the length and breadth of this country and the overriding consensus among the Imams is nothing but positive. These strong and loyal Imams love what I am saying and those weak cowardly ones would like to shut me up, but they know what I am saying is the truth and Almighty G-d Allah is the defender of His truth and will punish all and any who attempt to stop or stifle His truth. Dear brothers and sisters, Imam Mohammed has prepared us for this day, the day that our people have worked for since coming to these shores and now the same betrayal spirit that sold us into this situation is now attempting to put over that same deceptive game that their hypocritical ancestral forefathers put over on our parents while coming among us and pretending to be our true brothers and sisters. As Jesus said in the Bible, “my brother and sister are those who do the will of my father” and it is obvious who those courageous Imams are. However: I DO NOT SEE THAT COMING FROM THESE MODERN DAY SLAVE MASTERS AND TURF LORDS.

THE TIME IS NOW FOR THE YOUNG (in spirit and not age) COURAGEOUS STUDENTS OF IMAM W. D. MOHAMMED TO UNITE AND SEEK OUT THE DEDICATED LEADERSHIP OF THIS COMMUNITY AND WITH THE WISDOM OF IMAM MOHAMMED USING ISLAMIC DEMOCRACY AND NOT PHYSICAL VIOLENCE, TO SUPPORT THE TRUE AND HONORABLE IMAMS WHO SUPPORT AND PROPAGATE WHAT IMAM MOHAMMED TAUGHT AND INSTRUCTED US TO ADVANCE AND TO PUT THESE OLD, (in spirit and not age) TIRED, DECEITFUL COWARDS OUT TO PASTURE WHERE THEY BELONG BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT SERVING ANYONE BUT THEMSELVES.

IF ANY MASJID, REGION OR GROUP OF IMAMS COME TOGETHER TO MEET UNDER THE LABEL OF IMAM W. D. MOHAMMED AND DO NOT:
1. START THE MEETING WITH A SERIOU S PRAYER SERVICE FOR THE MEMORY AND WORK OF IMAM W.D. MOHAMMED.
2. HAVE ON THEIR AGENDA FIRST AND FOREMOST THE GOAL OF INVESTIGATING, DISCOVERING AND REPORTING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY EVERYTHING THAT TRANSPIRED SURROUNDING THE DEATH AND BURIAL OF IMAM MOHAMMED, INCLUDING THE TREATMENT OF HIS YOUNG CHILDREN AND WIDOWED WIFE KHADIJAH FROM THAT DAY UNTIL THIS DAY.

Any Imam who–either represents a community associated with the late and Honorable leader, Imam W. D. Mohammed and/or claims to be a follower in the association of believers that identify with Imam W. D. Mohammed’s leadership–has a problem with this expectation or would tolerate some so-called leader relegating this acknowledgement not worthy of being given a serious consideration and insist on putting forth his own concern as a first priority in deference to what clearly is Imam Mohammed’s community’s first priority, has by his own action proven that he is not a sincere devout and dedicated supporter of Imam W. D. Mohammed.

A very special thanks to all of those Imams, Muslim brothers and sisters, and friends who have never lost the love and the devotion to Imam Mohammed and have heard our reminding call (and that number is growing day by day) and have responded very positively in word and deed to our collective community responsibility, you truly are the ones whom Imam Mohammed loved dearly and are the hope for giving our leader Imam Mohammed a wonderful place to reside and live in as he requested. Thank you for not being one who has given falsehood your physical or silent support.

As-Salaamu-Alaikum

April 26, 2009

LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY IMAMS MEETING:
A RACE OF THE THOROUGHBREDS
OR A PLANTATION MINSTREL SHOW?

A pioneer brother, friend, former Minister for the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and an early Imam in association with Imam Mohammed, Wahid Shah, told me a funny story one day that had a very deep meaning. He told me that there was this 16 year old boy named Joe who decided that he was going to take the vows of silence and devote his entire life to being a faithful Monk so after 20 years went by and he hadn’t spoken a single word Joe uttered very softly in a room full of his fellow Monks, “the food is bad” and went on obeying his vows. After another 20 years went by and he had not said a single word and he uttered the ” the bed is hard” then went on studying and living the life of a monk and not speaking to a soul. After another 20 years went by and having not spoken a single word for 20 years he uttered, “the rooms are cold”. At that point Joe was called in before the high priest and told, “We’ve had it with you Joe, we’re putting you out of here, we’re sick and tired of your constant complaining.” So went the life of Joe.

I site this story because I, like Joe, have been told that I complain too much (for those who want to get away with anything they desire with impunity). I have the audacity to stand toe to toe with the so-called leaders or Imams of this community and tell them in plain and simple language that they are not walking in the way of or with the interest of Imam W. D. Mohammed. Now before going too far, anyone with an ounce of common sense is going to realize that this characterization does not fit all leaders or all Imams. However, like the old adage goes, if you throw a rock into a crowd of people the only one that will holler is the one that got hit.

As I register my concerns, using the only forum available to me I make it crystal clear that I am not writing from on high and that I am a common human being with personal short comings, weaknesses and faults that need plenty of attention and correction. However, the one thing that my critics have learned and if they haven’t they will and that is “your criticism or disagreements are not going to stop me from registering my concerns for the health and welfare of this community, put into motion by Allah’s guidance on the heart mind and spirit of Imam W. D. Mohammmed”. I am willing to remove my public assessment from the public domain if the person or persons who have a concern would like to sit down like a brother or sister and discuss a particular matter that they would prefer to deal with out of the public eye but to abandon my own conscience because some so called big Imam or big leader has a problem with what I am saying or he or she is uncomfortable with it, no way, they haven’t made an Imam or leader that big that’s going to achieve that goal (en sha Allah). I’m not a tough guy, but Allah be my witness, I’m not backing down from the so called biggest or most powerful brother or sister in or out of this community no matter what they think they have in their arsenal to make me do so as long as what I am saying is true and right.

However, if a 6-year-old child points out what I am saying is wrong I will back up, apologize and make every effort to correct my error.

Having said that I would like to make some comments on the recently held Imam’s meeting in Louisville Kentucky.

First allow me to offer Congratulations to those sincere Imams who traveled to Louisville in hopes of advancing the community of Imam W. D. Mohammed in these trying times It took a while but at least there has been a sincere effort put into motion for what can be the start of something good. Now bear in mind this is just the beginning, a very late beginning but still a beginning. I’m sure that every well meaning Muslim in the community of Imam Mohammed wants this first step to be a successful step but is it wise to wait two or three months to answer some basic issues that were answered before they even met? It has been reported to me that Imam Yahya Abdullah put it this way, “continue doing what you were doing yesterday”. That’s pretty clear and succinct and it did not take 3 months to state it.

Before going on with my congratulations I must note that I personally believe this meeting missed the high mark by intentionally ignoring the major issues facing the community of Imam W. D. Mohammed. As I have noted before, any true followers of Imam Mohammed could not and should not hold a meeting of his top level leadership and not place as a number one priority a concern as to: “WHAT HAPPENED TO IMAM W. D. MOHAMMED”. To hold a meeting of so called leaders who represent Imam Mohammed and to meet for nearly 13 hours non stop and not entertain this concern is to say that these so called leaders did not put first the interest and concerns that Imam Mohammed left us with but were representing their own personal interest. Also, it takes a conscious negative effort to ignore the plight of Khadijah Siddeeq Mohammed, the widowed wife of Imam Mohammed. For so called leaders to come together and entertain ideas and issues, including some that Imam Mohammed clearly warned us against, and at the same time just outright ignore the circumstances surrounding the welfare of Imam Mohammed’s wife is criminal and does not reflect the heart and mind of a true follower of Imam W. D. Mohammed.

No true follower of Imam W. D. Mohammed could come together as a result of his work and sacrifice while knowing that his young widowed wife has been locked out of her home, denied any collective community support for her welfare and survival, has been robbed of her proper identity and is now faced with literally tens of thousands of dollars of debt to fight an illegitimate law suit advanced and supported by the hidden true leader of this so called Imam’s meeting and just outright ignore these issues as if they were not true or even important. This truly is criminal and reflects the mind of disbelievers and non believers. This type of neglectful behavior will earn an unspoken disrespect and disdain from those Christian, Jewish, political and other religious leaders who know of this terrible situation and the honorable way of Imam Mohammed and looked to his Imams to reflect his sensitivity and concern in his absence.

Now keep in mind I’m not saying that there is no need for the community to take some time to discuss the issues suggested by those who attended this meeting. What I am saying is that sophisticated intelligent people all over the world are watching those who call themselves Imams and students of Imam W.D. Mohammed. They are watching from afar this community’s unnecessarily slow and mediocre response in moving forward after the passing of our great leader. They are watching to see if this leadership is going to move forward as traditional Muslim Imams that are responsible for the terrible name and mistrust being placed on Muslims and Imams all over the world today or are they going to represent the pure and honorable reinvigorating spirit of Imam Mohammed’s Muslim Imams that the entire world has seen as the hope and savior of Islam and true honorable religious practices hoped and prayed for, for thousands of years. Time is not going to wait for anyone. If it is going to take one year for those who claim to be followers of Imam Mohammed to answer four relatively simple questions that were brought back to our local communities to discuss and resolve, then how much time is it going to take to really accept our challenging mandate to take off self imposed blinders and gloves and begin moving on the very serious issues that have been pushed aside by those weak men who call themselves leaders but fear rocking some boats or goring some sacred cows?

I have not yet spoken to a single person who believes that we need one year to answer these four basic elementary questions:

How do we structure ourselves as a collective group

How do we deal with our national and international issues and concerns (a) Conventions (b) invitations.

How to deal with (in a supportive manner) the family of Imam W. Deen Mohammed.

I.D. (identification) or name.

Whether Imam Yahya Abdullah of Dallas, Texas was told by Imam Mohammed or not that we should continue doing today what we were doing yesterday, it certainly meets the standard of logic that Imam Mohammed offered us for thirty-four years and is not earth shattering revelation. So if our brother reminds us of a basic and fundamental truth that we all should be in accord with why “re-invent the wheel?”
Seven months to decide to meet then three months to ponder over questions that Imam Mohammed had answered for us before his passing, that’s a little much for me.

Now the great majority of Imams in attendance at said meeting I personally know are sincere and are seeking honorable and positive ways to continue the established programs that Imam Mohammed has set forth for us to follow. However, as the Qur’an clearly states that Shaitan said I will come upon them in their own straight path. Meaning he is going to attend every function that we have including our Imam’s meeting. So just as we have the faithful and honorable dedicated Imam’s who have always stood for right, we also have those Imams or leaders who are seeking to find a subtle way to say that they did not agree with Imam W.D. Mohammed and that “WE” have to make corrections on what he taught us and left us with. They don’t have the courage to openly disagree with how he structured us and state openly their disagreement, they want to back in the side door and pretend that they only need to make some minor adjustments to what he taught and then it will be acceptable. Now keep in mind, these same persons who are confused as to how this community should spell cat today never uttered a peep of discontentment while Imam Mohammed was alive. Everything was just fine and dandy. Then if it was just fine and dandy yesterday, what happened to change that? Why do we need a name today and didn’t need one yesterday? What do you mean; how do we structure ourselves as a collective group? Weren’t we a collective group before? How were we structured then? How do we deal with our national and international issues? If you’re an autonomous community and have been so for many years, deal with those concerns just as you dealt with them before Imam Mohammed passed.

What this gathering really looked like to me–based on what has come back in the way of reports–is a subtle effort to express discontentment with Imam Mohammed’s leadership under the guise of “I’m confused” and we are only trying to offer suggestions for the sake of progress.

This reminds me of the scene in Cyrano Debergerac when this man De Guiche is trying to get Cyrano to let his mentor (De Guiche’s) re-write one of Cyrano’s plays:
DE GUICHE
Why not? Take it to him (his mentor).
CYRANO (tempted)
Really -
DE GUICHE
He is himself a dramatist;
Let him rewrite a few lines here and there,
he’ll approve the rest.
CYRANO (His face falls again.)
IMPOSSIBLE!
My blood curdles to think of altering
One comma.
DE GUICHE
Ah, but when he (my rich and powerful mentor) likes a thing
He pays well.
CYRANO
Yes – but not so well as I -
When I have made a line that sings itself
So that I love the sound of it – I pay
Myself a hundred times

So what am I attempting to say? I am saying that we, who truly love, honor and respect the work of Imam W. D. Mohammed should not ever consider altering one fraction of a scintilla of what he left us with. Our efforts would have been better spent in our home Islamic Centers working to fulfill all that Imam Mohammed had already given us if this was our purpose or intent for meeting.

Again, I am baffled at the strange stand of the convener of this meeting, an honorable and intelligent Imam. Certain things reported from the meeting causes me to ask the question: who really convened the Imams to come together in Louisville? Was it Imam Vernon Fareed or Wallace Mohammed Jr? From the early inquiries about having such a meeting it is clear that this meeting was done in concert with the wishes of Wallace Mohammed Jr. So Siddeeq, are you saying that Wallace having some involvement in this meeting makes it a bad thing? No, I’m not saying that at all. It appeared from all that I have learned of the meetings planning that Wallace had a large interest in the meeting and such interest was conveyed to Imam Vernon. My concern as a member of this association is that if Wallace wanted certain things addressed why didn’t he step forward and present those concerns himself. Certainly a stealth leadership can only be tolerated for so long a time and to aid and support one in such is to hurt the individual, deny the community and to jeopardize ones own good reputation in the community.

In reading the various reports that have come back from said meeting and seeing some of the concerns and language used I am obliged along with my compliments for the many excellent and sincere attempts put forth at said meeting to chart a positive future for our community, to ask the question as to how can or why would the organizers of such an outstanding meeting risk harming their commendable effort by identify this noble effort as a “national meeting”, language that Imam Mohammed intentionally avoided and cautioned us to avoid. Again seeking out solutions for progress in our community life is an honorable and acceptable goal however, wouldn’t it be a wise approach to search the archives or ask via of the Muslim Journal to locate for such purpose any writings or prescriptions that Imam Mohammed had established for such endeavor or acceptable methodology for solving problems.

In talking to Brother Abdul Malik of Long Beach California about this type of problem, he reminded me of what Imam Mohammed had said in the summer of 1975 about solving problems.

Imam W. D. Mohammed (Muhammad Speaks, August 1, 1975)

“Whenever we have problems come up, I tell the officials to bring all the facts and put them on the table. The facts are not answers in themselves; they are part of our problem. But we hope that when WE PUT THEM ALL TOGETHER we will see our problem because when you put confusion together, it takes a form and permits you to identify that form.

So we put all the facts on the table and (then) look into the facts. I absorb the clouds of facts into my head. Those clouds of facts begin to whirl around in my head like clouds in the heavens. I think and I concentrate and after a while lightning flashes through that cloud of piecemeal facts.

When lightning flashes, the light shows what is in the clouds. The heat of the light acts against the cold (the ignorance, the absence of truth) and the two foreign natures work together. One is charged positively and the other is charged negatively.

All the piecemeal particles of facts are pushed out with the heat of the lightning flash and it thunders within my head. After a while I take ink and the wet drops of ink begin to feed the scroll.”

So isn’t this a wise approach to solving our problems as members of Imam W. D. Mohammed’s community? However, we must keep in mind the steps that Imam Mohammed told us we must take to get the desired results. He told us that we must be morally strong enough to BRING ALL OF THE FACTS AND PUT ALL OF THE FACTS ON THE TABLE. So before undertaking this approach or accepting a leadership role in facilitating or convening a community wide effort we must first ask ourselves am I willing to put all of the facts on the table and not be controlled by any political or preconceived agendas. I must recognize that this means we as a community must enlist pure openness and objectivity and will not allow room for one to carry another’s burden or concern at the expense of our community success. So if one steps up to lead under these conditions or circumstances they can only speak a word directly to the truth, they cannot come with ulterior motives and hidden agendas and if they do they taint the entire process.

Let’s examine just one small exchange at this meeting to see if it does not reveal that perhaps there existed some ulterior motives in the leadership that cannot be reconciled with the stated goals of the meeting. And let’s also assess the consequence of this type of behavior to the many trusting and sincere Imams who traveled to Louisville in hopes of saving and restoring our community to the standard that Imam W. D. Mohammed set it in.

One item from the agenda in brief which was brought back to the local communities for this spirited meeting Imams in Louisville was:

Support for the family of Imam W. D. Mohammed

The meeting was about to end and Imam Doctor Michael Ramadan from Illinois raised the question about support for the marriage of Khadijah Siddeeq (to whom I am very grateful to and appreciative of his courageous and beautiful Islamic dedication)

I was not there but was told by those who were there that a so called intelligent Imam having the agenda in writing before him stated “That is not on the agenda” and the convener carried that concern to the body

Then, according to the reports that also came to me, another courageous Muslim Imam, Brother Plemon El-Amin of Atlanta Georgia stood up and said yes it is, it is in point number 3 (and I am also grateful to Imam Plemon for his stand)

However what I am attempting to understand is that if the organizers of said meeting, who submitted a draft agenda with this same idea of support for the family of Imam W. D. Mohammed on it and a flip chart was placed in front of these Imams with the same information on it. Then when Dr. Ramadan requested a vote of support for Khadijah Siddeeq Mohammed as the widowed wife of Imam Mohammed, It is reported that the convener raised the concern of the Imam who said this issue was not on the agenda. Is it possible that these two intelligent Imams did not consider Khadijah Siddeeq Mohammed as a part of the Family of Imam W. D. Mohammed? How did they come to the conclusion that a vote of support for Khadijah as Imam Mohammed’s wife was not on the agenda though support for the Family of Imam W. D. Mohammed clearly was one of the points to be discussed? How do you conduct a meeting of the highest order of religious leaders in a society, reciting the revealed words of G-d from the Holy book, The Qur’an, throughout said meeting, and at the same time ignore the very principles and precepts these so called leaders are suppose to be representing and their Book is pointing them to? Is it possible that these learned Imams never once considered Imam Mohammed’s widowed wife as a part of Imam Mohammed’s family or in need of support? Or was it their determination to block every and any attempt to offer such support while falsely raising the banner “Our community… Our responsibility”.

These Imams purported response to Doctor Ramadan’s bold and honorable request speaks volumes and those volumes are all very very troubling but not irresolvable.

Out of the One hundred and twenty Imams present at this meeting, I do not know who caught this snafu or not but if the report that came back to the general body of Muslims is accurate then I did not miss it. Follow the strange response to Dr. Ramadan’s request to the next level after they could not deny Dr. Ramadan’s concern for a fair hearing on the basis of it not being on the agenda. Next, according to the report that came back to me, another weak frightened Imam who is afraid that Khadijah might get some support or help from this gathering allegedly raised the question as to was there some possible LEGAL concern that would render giving attention to this matter a problem for any pending legal matter. Remember Jesus getting his feet washed with precious oils and the hypocritical people of that day were jealous and did not have the heart to attack Jesus directly so they pretended that they were concerned with the poor. “Oh, you could sell that oil and give the money to the poor”. Today these same wicked minded people say “…could we be in violation with some legal issue if we offer support for Khadijah (since we are praying that she doesn’t get any collective community support so that our theory of this being a personal problem and not a community problem will not look so bad and off base)”.

Now why would any pending legal matter have an effect on Muslim Imams bearing witness to a fact of knowledge that is true no matter what legal matter is pending or at stake. These naysayers did not stop until they had nothing to stand upon and then they resorted to Khadijah’s marriage as an “Islamic Marriage”.

Certainly an Islamic marriage is a most wonderful and honorable marriage but their purpose of qualifying her marriage as an Islamic Marriage was clearly not to show it’s beauty and relationship to the Qur’an it was to distinguish it from some other type of marriage that these weak determined destroyers felt would diminish her marital standing while elevating others. Oh ye of little faith, you make a plan and Allah makes a plan and Allah is the best of planners.

The question that I am compelled to ask those with this concern is why? Why would you or any person feel compelled when asked about Khadijah Siddeeq being the wife of Imam W. D. Mohammed, why would you feel compelled to qualify the type of marriage that Imam Mohammed and Khadijah Siddeeq Mohammed had? Can any person in this world nevertheless in this community tell me that they heard Imam Mohammed say that he had an Islamic marriage to Khadijah Siddeeq Mohammed? Can any person on this earth tell me that they know for a fact that what allegedly was said on this matter was in fact a fact? The answer to both question is NO! Then why was it so hard for some Imams of this wonderful meeting of Imams feel that they could or should take the liberty to qualify this marriage when they did not and do not have the facts to support his qualification. Is this responsible leadership? Emphatically NO!

It also has come to our attention that it was initially reported that the vote on this issue was unanimous and then when it was called to the conveners attention that this was not correct the record was adjusted to reflect the correction. I am humbly requesting that the convener afford the same respect to his mislabeling of Sister Khadijah Siddeeq and Imam W. D. Mohammed’s marriage and demanding that the convener and any other person who partakes in this subject matter only report the facts as you either heard Imam Mohammed state them and not as you think or have heard from some anonymous source. In all fairness, Muslim Imams should only report any witnessed issue–whether it is marriage, divorce, or business– as they have heard Imam Mohammed report it and not add anything or take away anything on this or any other matter.

Certainly I am grateful to Dr. Ramadan, Imam Plemon El-Amin and those Imams that had the courage and conviction to stand up for the truth as they knew it from their and my leader Imam W. D. Mohammed, however we cannot and none of us should tolerate any innovation of a situation that we do not have the facts on and allow it to go unchallenged..

In all fairness there were other concerns that raised their head that I personally am appalled at such as the idea of “solidifying” our relationship with other Islamic groups like ISNA for the purpose of moving into the leadership void. What leadership void? Did this brother who made this suggestion think that Imam Mohammed did not know what he was doing in his relationship with ISNA ? What message is the leadership of ISNA sending when they offer 500 invitations for members of Imam Mohammed’s community to come to the ISNA convention? Why weren’t these invitations made available when Imam Mohammed was alive? To me, to even bring up such ideas is unacceptable because it is saying that Imam Mohammed was holding us back and now that he is gone we (ISNA) will help you poor deprived orphans get on the right track. To accept that weak disingenuous proposition is to say those in the leadership of ISNA are more concerned for our welfare than Imam Mohammed was. It is also saying that we know better than Imam Mohammed and we are not willing to follow what he left us with but we will stay on board if we can change Imam Mohammed’s direction to suit our thinking or the thinking of our bosses. This unacceptable, disrespectable, insulting offer from ISNA should have been promptly ruled out of order upon its presentation by those Imam’s who are true followers of Imam W. D. Mohammed.

We did not lose anything with ISNA and do not need anything from them to progress and survive in fact the only thing we will gain by uniting with ISNA is regression and failure. “Beware of Greeks bearing gifts”. Or better yet, “come into my parlor said the spider to the fly”.

It is very troubling to me to learn of seasoned veteran Imams who will challenge something so clear as to whether the wife of Imam W. D. Mohammed at the time of his passing was a part of Imam Mohammed’s family and try to immediately squash that legitimate concern but entertains and welcomes an extended platform for a clear intentional or unintentional attempt to challenge what Imam Mohammed has clearly and persistently established as to how he wanted our community to work with and relate to other Islamic communities. Here in my opinion, is where the leadership should have challenged the legitimacy of such idea at this meeting. This was not a referendum on changing Imam Mohammed’s established direction. SO EVERY IMAM IN THE HOUSE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THEIR FEET SHOUTING NO TO THAT BROTHER’S SUGGESTION.

Now I am not saying that his brother is a bad brother or am I saying that he was intentionally creating a problem but what he attempted to present was totally out of line as to what any true follower of Imam Mohammed should have even tolerated regardless of what respectable position he was bringing his idea from.

So I close this writing using the simple words of Imam Yahya of Dallas, Texas,
Whatever you were doing before Imam Mohammed died continue doing it today and you will be on a safe tract for the future.

As-Salaamu-Alaikum
Brother Muhammad Siddeeq

March 9, 2009

NOT SO FAST SHIRLEY…!
JUDGE WANTS TO HEAR MORE ABOUT THIS YOUNG WIDOW’S MARRIAGE

Dear brothers and sisters,

Muslims, followers in the association of our late Honorable Imam W. D. Mohammed

As you know we went to court in Chicago, Illinois on Monday, March 9, 2009. Khadijah Siddeeq-Mohammed, the widowed wife of Imam W. D. Mohammed, was represented by a most capable dignified lawyer, Ms. Kapitan, and supported by a respectable contingent of approximately 30 to 40 faithful Muslims. Shirley Muhammad, the divorced ex-wife of Imam Mohammed, and her children attended–accompanied by 2 or 3 family members and approximately 2 members of the Muslim community.

Despite the Muhammads’ claim of Shirley being the legal wife of Imam Mohammed and despite the Judge having read their documentation and being ready to accept said claim and rule in favor of her, things took a dramatic turn at the last minute when Attorney Kapitan presented to Judge Budzinski the Marriage Certificate signed by Khadijah Siddeeq and Imam W. D. Mohammed. After the Judge read and listened to Ms. Kapitan’s pleadings, he accepted her request not to rule in favor of Shirley Muhammad but to continue the proceedings until May 11, 2009, and allow Attorney Kapitan to present documented evidence that support her filings. Along with the certificate presented by Ms. Kapitan were documentation and affidavits signed by Muslims supporting Khadijah and Imam Mohammed’s marriage and affirming his position on being married to two women at the same time (web site: siddeeq.com). These affidavits played a key role in the judge’s refusal to grant Shirley Muhammad’s baseless wish.

Khadijah would like to thank all who have sent affidavits and money and prayed for the triumph of truth in this matter. Please know that this effort is not over and that we still need every Muslim who wants to see justice prevail to continue to send financial support and to get those affidavits filled out, signed, and mailed to Khadijah.

We, too, would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for all of those who came in support of the truth and contributed time and money to help keep this community struggle for justice alive and victorious.

MARK THIS DATE ON YOUR CALENDAR AND LET’S FILL UP THE COURT ROOM ON MONDAY MAY 11, 2009 AT 10 AM.

The affidavit and financial contributions to the legal defense fund may be mailed to:

You, the believers and supporters of this Islamic community, should know that Khadijah, since the death of her husband, Imam Mohammed, has not received one penny from the charities that believers are donating to the Mosque Cares, the Ansari Fund or any other charities that are being administered by Wallace Muhammad Jr. allegedly on behalf of the believing Muslims.

The only money that this young widowed wife has to live off of is charity given to her by her family, and the generous Muslims in the association of our late leader, Imam W.D. Mohammed and that amount, though greatly respected and appreciated, barely covers the necessary basic expenditures one must deal with in today's world. She is actively pursuing employment and applying for jobs, but the promised pay is not enough to hire and retain an attorney and fight this legal battle.

Needless to say that those who refused to trust the Qur'an and the Muslim community to help resolve this problem have not hesitated to ask for and receive Muslim money from the donations put in the trust of Wallace Jr., by the Muslim believers and ironically, they are taking your Muslim charity to pay their lawyer TO PROVE THAT THE QUR'AN--THE REVEALED BOOK THAT THE TRUE MUSLIM BELIEVERS ALL OVER THE WORLD LOVE AND TRUST--SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED OR RESPECTED AS THE AUTHORITY OVER THE MUSLIMS' AFFAIRS.

Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not. Qur’an Al-Baqara 216

THIS IS NOT ABOUT KHADIJAH SIDDEEQ-MOHAMMED THE INDIVIDUAL.

THE AMERICAN COURTS ARE BEING ASKED BY SHIRLEY MUHAMMAD TO DECIDE AND RULE ON:

IS ISLAM A LEGITIMATE RELIGION AND SHOULD THE QUR’AN BE RESPECTED AND ACKNOWLEDGED AS THE AUTHORITY IN/FOR THE LIVES OF AMERICAN MUSLIMS?

MARCH 4, 2009

Dear Muslims,

Believers in association with the late Honorable leader Imam W. D. Mohammed.

It is a sad day when a Muslim has to appeal to Muslims to send Zakat (Muslim charity) to help this Muslim pay a lawyer to defend Islam against an attack by (so-called) Muslims who are using Muslim donated money to go to court to dispute the VALIDITY of the revealed word of Allah in the Qur’an and attack the pristine reputation of the most Honorable Muslim we have ever known in these modern times, Imam W. D. Mohammed.

It pains me to have to write and ask for money to defend against this convoluted un-Islamic behavior but I must. Khadijah Siddeeq-Mohammed, the wife of our leader Imam W.D. Mohammed, in her commitment to DEFEND THE HONOR OF AL ISLAM, THE QUR’AN and her late husband IMAM W.D. MOHAMMED, HAS VOWED TO FIGHT THIS DISGRACEFUL ATTACK BEING LAUNCHED BY THE MUHAMMAD FAMILY, UPON THE QUR’AN AND IMAM MOHAMMED FOR AS LONG AS SHE LIVES IF IT BE ALLAH’S WILL

As I stated in our latest release on siddeeq.com, that Shirley Muhammad and her children, Wallace Jr., Laila and N’gina chose to reject an Islamic solution to how one should respect and handle an Islamic Marriage and an Islamic Divorce. They chose to take an Islamic community matter, that we could and should have sat down amongst the Muslims and resolved, they chose to take this matter before a civil court in Cook county (Chicago, Illinois) that has no commitment to or understanding of Islamic law and Qur’anic principles. These so called Muslim have rejected an Islamic solution and have chosen to go down town to the Chicago Probate Court seeking to resolve this Islamic community matter. Now bear in mind had we sat down and agreed amongst ourselves how we wanted this matter to be handled, then gone to the court as a united community this court would not have challenged or interfered with our Islamic community based decision. In fact, they would have been respectful and accommodating to our wishes. But because there exist those amongst us who do not believe in, want or trust an Islamic verdict on this matter they petitioned the Cook County Court system to do their desired dirty work for them so that they could pretend that the attack on our Islamic values was from the Courts and not them when in reality they are the true villains and enemies of Islam and not Judge Budzinski’s court.

This means that Khadijah, the wife of Imam Mohammed must–if she is to go forward in defense of the honor of Imam W. D. Mohammed, our Qur’an and Belief–have your financial support and help. Money is needed to hire a lawyer to represent her in this serious ISLAMIC COMMUNITY MATTER and you, brothers and sisters–THE FOUNDATION AND BACKBONE OF THE ISLAMIC COMMUNITY, THE ONES THAT IMAM MOHAMMED TRUSTED, RELIED AND DEPENDED ON–are the only ones that she can and will turn to for support and help during this serious attack upon Al Islam and our late leader Imam W. D. Mohammed.

Mohammed and that amount, though greatly respected and appreciated, barely covers the necessary basic expenditures one must deal with in today’s world. She is actively pursuing employment and applying for jobs, but the promised pay is not enough to hire and retain an attorney and fight this legal battle.

Needless to say that those who refused to trust the Qur’an and the Muslim community to help resolve this problem have not hesitated to ask for and receive Muslim money from the donations put in the trust of Wallace Jr., by the Muslim believers and ironically, they are taking your Muslim charity to pay their lawyer TO PROVE THAT THE QUR’AN–THE REVEALED BOOK THAT THE TRUE MUSLIM BELIEVERS ALL OVER THE WORLD LOVE AND TRUST–SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED OR RESPECTED AS THE AUTHORITY OVER THE MUSLIMS’ AFFAIRS.

WHAT’S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE??? ARE THE MUSLIMS GOING TO STAND IDLY BY AND WATCH THIS BLATANT ATTACK UPON OUR FAITH?

Allah knows that we are grateful for those who have sent so much as a penny to help in this cause because it is one penny more than what we had. However, when you understand that this is not Khadijah’s personal fight. When you realize that every Muslim in America and around the world is at risk if an official court verdict discounting the worth and significance of Al-Islam and the divinely revealed word of Allah in the Qur’an is legally established as a legitimate precedent for how all Islamic life will be recognized in America based on the contention of Shirley Muhammad and her Children. When you realize that Shirley Muhammad is saying that Imam Mohammed was not honorably married and that his word was not true based on her refusal to acknowledge that she had an Islamic divorce and had agreed to honor it until she was convinced that she could get a big pay day by denying that fact. So this is a very serious and important challenge that we the Muslims are facing if we do not stand up and defend our Imam and our Qur’an. To even begin to meet this challenge, the one who is under attack in the cause of Al-Islam must first hire a lawyer and post a bond. The defense of this community in the civil courts of Chicago entails investing thousands of dollars and we cannot expect any one individual to be responsible to finance this community challenge, we must exert a collective community fund raising effort if we are to be successful.

Therefore, I am asking every Muslim who desires to support the wife of Imam W. Deen Mohammed, who must defend the imam’s honor and noble example that he lived by and never strayed from against this terrible attack upon our Muslim community by these shameless people. I’m asking you to stand up and be counted as sincere faithful Muslims. I am asking you to trust and follow Imam Mohammed’s virtuous model insisting that we must give our lives to the Qur’an and support any and all Muslims facing a most serious public attack upon and challenge to Al-Islam, the Qur’an and the legacy of any decent, righteous and honorable believer in G-d. This is how we follow Imam W. Deen Mohammed in deeds and not in empty rhetorical slogans.

This challenge starts on March 9, 2009 at 10:00 am in Judge Budzinski’s probate court room, 1803, Daley Center in Chicago, Illinois. Your donations are needed until the final decision is rendered and all expenses created by this effort have been properly attended to by our collective community effort.

As-Salaamu-Alaikum
Thank you for your support

But if good fortune comes to you from Allah, they would be sure to say
- as if there had never been Ties of affection between you and them -
their hands (from fight) but establish regular prayers and spend in
regular charity? When (at length) the order for fighting was issued to
them, behold! a section of them feared men as – or even more than -
they should have feared Allah: They said: “Our Lord! Why hast Thou
